Mike + Amanda’s Baywood Events Wedding
This wedding, y’all! It was a hot June day in Delaware… the kind of day that felt like “typical beach weather”. That’s ok though! There’s just something about being at or near the beach 🙂 mix a pretty wedding and a fun 2nd shooter into it and you’ve got yourself a trip!
Jessie and I headed to Delaware Friday evening and were AMAZED when we pulled up to Baywood! After scoping out the venue, we both agreed that we’d happily make the 4 hour drive any time to shoot here! The bride said when she saw the venue, she knew immediately this was it!
Mike and Amanda met at Madonna Seafood in Jarretsville when Amanda worked the carry out counter and Mike frequented the restaurant on Sundays. They ended up going to the same college and started dating in 2013.
Beachy things are a thing for Mike and Amanda… from meeting at a seafood restaurant, to spending many summers at their family’s beach house, to the proposal. While on their first vacation to California, Mike proposed on Laguna Beach while walking in the sunset to a nearby restaurant! Talk about perfect!
Their wedding day was one for the books! Congratulations Mike and Amanda! Thank you for letting me and Jessie be a part of your day!
